It’s time to educate the public about their trees.

the trees & their benefits.

Trees have been proven to have social, environmental, and economic benefits for the communities that they grow in. The largest investment made in every tree is the time it takes to grow one and the special attention to stressors that may cause a decline in overall health. The historic “City of Trees” has a sizable diversity in age and species of trees that creates a truly unique urban canopy. We are beholden to Boise for the opportunity to further our careers in such a beautiful urban interface.

Our Urban Canopy is disappearing.

Ultimately, environmental stressors and disease simultaneously are the main cause of tree death. There is substantial evidence that veteran trees are having a harder time than adolescent trees adjusting to climate change. In addition to senescence (the condition or process of deterioration with age), accelerated by global warming; we are losing veteran trees due to misdiagnosed disease and risk management by misinformed or underqualified tree companies often advocating for tree removal.

Who you gonna call? :)

The industry-specific credential to proper tree care is the International Society of Arboriculture’s Certified Arborist. Unfortunately, even some credentialed arborists still follow what we consider “old science” in their pruning/tree care standards. The definition of an arborist is “tree surgeon”, but we feel that being an arborist can mean so much more. Tree care is a constantly evolving industry and we do our very best to further our skills and education to provide a truly holistic tree care service.
